Finish Strong

With the end of the year approaching, it is time to finish strong.  You need to increase your momentum in the end of the year and to go into the new year with increased energy, focus and commitment.

The holiday season usually means more stress, more strain, decreased sleep, poor food choices, and much more.  As health care practitioners we need to set an example for our patients. This means getting 7-8 hours of sleep at night, more water, healthy eating, massage, adjustments, and increased immune booster supplements to prevent the cold/flu.

This should also be your table talk with your patients. Teach them how to thrive during the holiday season without getting sick or gaining weight.

As a business owner, you should be analyzing your statistics. Not sure what statistics you should be tracking, e-mail me at leewooddc@gmail.

One way to increase collections in December is to call on insurance companies and attorneys.  Find out what you need to do in order to get payment before the end of the year. Many attorneys and insurance companies will want to settle the balances for tax purposes.

Lastly, we need to take care of our teammates.  Plan a fun luncheon or dinner out. Make sure to gift your staff with either a bonus or Christmas gift.
